Below are the basic steps to cutting the cord.

Check Your Internet Speed

• Make sure your internet connection can support streaming services like Netflix.
  • Internet speed is measured in megabits per second, or Mbps.
  • On average, streaming services require 5Mbps per person, per device in the household.
    • So, if you frequently have four people in your home streaming video from four devices at once, you need at least 20Mbps per month.
• Test your internet speed using third-party programs:
  • www.speedtest.net
  • www.fast.com
  • Test your speed multiple times per day over the course of a week to determine your average speed.
